When was the last time you practiced yoga? It is pretty amazing how this meditative practice has brought a huge change in the lives of those who religiously practice it. Perhaps you have benefitted from yoga since you started it.
And yet, little do people know that there is so much more about yoga than just asanas. It is more than just about twisting the body, toning it, or strengthening the muscles. There are so many other ancient techniques in the practice of yoga that is yet to be discovered. One of them is the meditation mudra.
What is it about the meditation mudra that makes it stand out? This ancient practice began as part of the Pranayama meditation. While newbies may describe this as a form of meditation hand positions, mudras express a psychic, emotional, and aesthetic gestures.
Ancient yoga masters would often describe the mudras as an act of balancing all the energies in the body. Its practice is...
“Chakra” is a term often used to refer to a kind of healing technique. While there may be a tinge of truth in this, chakras are healing points within the body, or points of energy, that keep life’s perfect balance.
Experts believe that when the chakras are not in balance, a person’s life is out of balance. The word chakra comes from the Sanskrit term, which means the wheel. Simply put, it is the wheel of life that runs from the top of your head down to the tailbone.
There are seven different chakras placed along the spine. The sixth chakra, or the brow chakra, is associated with the third eye powers. When functioning properly, the chakras help life unfold smoothly, allowing people to achieve true success and happiness.
But how does the brow chakra work?
This is the chakra that is located in the middle of the two eyebrows. It is right where the big eye of the cyclopes can be found. Because...

Often in life, we come across some form of blockage, whether it is from tragedy, people not liking us, or not winning the lottery. These blockages embed themselves deep into the mind. The only way to release yourself from these blockages is to uproot them yourself. And the only way to uproot them is to venture deep into the Mariana's Trench.
One of the most overlooked things in meditation is being ready to do the meditation itself. Most will put on their headphones and then think about the ongoing day and other drama. It is time to go into the inner world, not the realm of Cheesecake Riots and Screaming. Trust me; it's a lot more peaceful and fun.
Generally, you will want to be slightly reclined if not sitting up straight. Most people tend to fall asleep when lying down as the human mind is conditioned to sleep because that's what people do when lying down.
Be away from...
We blame others for things that happen in our life because we have forgotten that we are the creators of our reality.
There is no other thing that makes any sense to do in terms of contextualizing our experience when we operate in a paradigm of separation than to give your credit to luck or fate, or to blame someone else or some other thing when something goes wrong. It is logical to do if we operate with the belief that we are separate from our experience. The solution to changing the habit of blaming others for our misfortunes is to 1) realize that we are the creators of our reality, 2) recognize that, as the Creator of our existence, and knowing that we in infinitely kind and compassionate, we would not have created ANY experience out of malice or evil. Therefore the experience itself is an opportunity to expand. Finally, 3) we need to operate within this new paradigm as frequently as we possibly can.

A question has been simmering in my mind for a bit:
What does it mean to create sovereign spaces?
Moreover, what does that even look like for Black folx, who have historically been unsupported in taking up space?
With the recent release of Beyoncé's Black Is King film, the idea of sovereignty + power in Blackness feels especially relevant for us to reflect upon as we envision a new world.
We often think of "sovereignty" as a type of authority or power that a select few leaders, or a god, carries—something outside of ourselves.
We may associate "sovereign" spaces with the spaces in which kings and queens reside, or the temples, churches, and mosques where religious texts and practices exist.
From that perspective, we easily give up our power to a force we believe to be higher or even more worthy than ourselves.
I want to be clear: spaces, where we hold reverence for respectful leaders, our ancestors, and our...
Meditation improves productivity more efficiently than any other practice. Any different personal development strategy entirely unmatches the time and energy that meditation requires compared to the benefits one experiences.
There are a variety of reasons people are motivated to meditate, spanning from the extremely practical and grounded immediate life benefits, to the more esoteric evolution of the sense of self. Even though we are collectively waking up to the ideas of a more balanced life and the importance of more self-love, there still exists a notion that meditation is somehow only associated with spiritual "seekers" or that it is some problematic process to attain. This could not be further from the truth. Meditation is incredibly practical, and someone needs absolutely no particular spiritual dogma to experience the benefits. Other benefits, like increased productivity, are perhaps the most drastic.
To answer the question...

Today we will look at the Hermetic Principle of Vibration. As we will see by the end of this blog, this principle’s details have many uncanny parallels to modern physics. For the interested reader, these can be explored in more detail in the fifth chapter of The Quantum Hermetica on Amazon here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08BF2PNSM
Before we begin, I want you to keep a particular date in mind, 1908, the year The Kybalion was released. This is important because all of the parallels with the physics were discovered quite some time after 1908. How an occult text could possibly have direct parallels with physics discovered only after the fact is a mystery with disturbing implications, but it is what is clearly the case as will now be shown.
To begin with, let’s look at the simple statement of the Principle of Vibration1:
“Nothing rests; everything moves; everything vibrates.”
This is a bit odd coming...
Have you ever heard of spiritual meditation before? Have you ever wondered how to start meditation? Perhaps you don’t see yourself as a spiritual person, and the thought of meditation may make you uncomfortable or bored.
While many people start with a self-guided meditation, it still helps to consult an expert if you are not very confident about the practice. Through guided meditation, you can learn a thing or two about meditation from a person who has made it a life practice.
More importantly, getting yourself a guide for your meditative practice will allow you to become more confident. In the long run, it will make you want to meditate more. The more you practice, the more you become good at it.
Meditation is a spiritual practice that aims to train the mind, like how an exercise routine aims to help the body achieve what it wants. However, meditation practice is not the same for everyone. You have to...
Do you have a mantra to remove negative energy around you? Perhaps you have thought of this before, but never seriously. Every time, you just tell yourself that the negative is part of your life, and there is nothing you can do about it.
One of the great teachings of Buddha is that life contains suffering. Whether it is psychological, emotional, or spiritual negativity, negative experiences dampen your spirits and make you feel helpless.
Before you explore the possibilities on how to eliminate negativity, you must understand what it can do to you. Negativity is not just about feeling bad over something. It is not just about a feeling that’s fleeting or that you can move on from quickly.
Negativity can put you in a dark place. It can make you feel dull and heavy. It can turn your feelings into something reactive and often defensive. Negative emotions can alter your view of the world, and it can make you feel a...
