According to the principles of Ayurvedic practice, real health is defined by how you are able to maintain good health and achieve a sense of fulfillment in the things that you do. 

You can begin by making small changes in your life. Maybe instead of waking up at your usual time, you can try to wake up at least thirty minutes before. This means giving you a headstart for the day. 

When you make these small changes a priority, it is easy to make yourself do it. You can use the thirty minutes for your meditation. Don't forget to tell the people around you about your new plans. This is to make sure that they are on the same boat as you. 

Tip 2: Learn more about your dosha

Contrary to the Western traditions of medicine, the Ayurvedic practice teaches people that every person has his own body and mind constitutions. When you learn to adapt your body to your particular dosha type, not only do you gain vitality, but you are able to improve your well-being in general. 

You can begin by learning more about your dosha. Perhaps, you can read about all the food that you can include in your diet to achieve that healthy body. Daily, there is always a suggested list of foods that you can eat, depending on how you feel. 

In the beginning, what you discover about your dosha might make you think it is impossible to influence your mind and body to make these changes. However, when you allow it to inspire you, it might just be able to open up a number of creative ways you can improve your eating and cooking habits. 

Tip 3: Get enough sleep

The Ayurvedic lifestyle puts you in a position where you can learn more about yourself. It makes you more aware of what is happening in your life. You will have a better understanding of why things happen or why you feel that way. 

For example, when you give yourself more sleep, you will realize how much sleep you were missing out on. You will start to feel better. Your muscles will feel less tense and more relaxed. There are no more episodes of muscle pain because your body is starting to get more rest. 

Getting enough sleep at night also makes your body feel like it has rested; thus, it will feel like you have more energy to do the things you need. Your morning meditation will help pick up on those energies and make it last throughout the day.
