What’s the first thing you can think of when you finally finish school? Perhaps the thought of being in the real world excites you. After all, you have spent the first twenty years of your life in school, learning all you could ever need to prepare for life.
But then, there is a part of you that feels scared about facing the real world. How will you survive? Will you be able to meet all the challenges and come out as the winner? Learning skills and lessons about life from school is just one part of what you need to know.
Are you ready for what’s ahead?
Where will you be from here on out? This is perhaps one of the scariest questions you need to ask yourself. When it’s time to leave school, and you need to move on to your new life, you can’t help but worry about what lies ahead.
There are a lot of things that you need to think about every day. They say adulting is difficult, and it can be. These are...
Would you consider yourself a positive person? The positivity mindset is a trendy concept these days, and some people think that it’s a bit of a cliche.
However, the truth about keeping a positive mental attitude needs to be told. Multiple studies have been conducted, and they all say the same thing about keeping that positive spirit. It comes with a handful of benefits, and they are the ones that make your life worthwhile.
Even though it may seem cliche, everyone knows how truly beneficial it is to always look at the bright side of things. Not everything we want happens to us, but a positive mindset will always remind us that everything happens for a reason.
A positive mindset gives you the confidence boost that you need. It helps improve your perspective and how you approach issues and situations that come your way. When you choose to be positive, you are focused on seeing...
Empathy—or the ability to share the feelings of another—is truly something that we are (almost) all born with, but is something that is, if it is not practiced or nurtured at an early age, will fall away. It can be developed, and it is a crucial skill to effective communication, which in turn is critical for achieving what you would like to do in your life. You could WANT to have empathy for another for these reasons, but that would be inauthentic and not true to yourself. The idea is that through your demonstration of your compassion, you learn more about yourself.
The problem is that so many things in a typical routine are not designed to support the development and to nurture empathy. We are not actively choosing to consistently express our empathy when situations arise. We confuse the meaning and defining element of the ability to feel connected to one another, although they are quickly regained. Empathetic communication is often absent in...
We are all already within our hearts. The experience of "going into the heart" is akin to the experience of becoming aware of that fact and feeling it in a way that is new to your experience.
Our minds conceptualize our spiritual and emotional journeying in many ways that are extremely helpful for us to get our excitement around it. However, there are specific ideas that words struggle to describe, and because of their inaccuracy, the lyrics paint pictures in our minds that can serve as unnecessary obstacles and detours. A solution for the idea of "going more into your heart" is to accept various conceptualizations—not just one—and to embrace intuitive logic.
And you are not "going" anywhere. One of the great mysteries to resolve is the mobility of self when encountering spiritual ideas, such as being more heart-centered. The logical mind wants so desperately to be able to see the path, a point A to point B. As it relates to...
Joker is a pretty crazy movie, a powerful reflection that 'we truly do live in a society,' and the effects that our environment has on the quality of our lives and our own health. Yet, we find it also carries some intrinsic qualities about the nature of enlightenment...But in this case, a more "dark" enlightenment.

Recall that any emotion that you are feeling is a communication from you to you of a perspective that you are holding about yourself.
Being accepting of other people is natural and effortless. When we talk about taking, we are speaking about being more present and removing the things that we've added on to our perspective-judgment. The primary compulsion to NOT accept another comes from experience—either explicitly or implicitly—and that is based in some form of comparison, or a relativistic "observation."
Your energy flows where your attention goes. If you look for differences, which is what comparing two things or ideas or people is based on, you will find them. This is often called "observing," and this definition can be cancerous because "We are just observing! So it's ok. We are not judging."
Realize that we all chose to be here and all choose the lives that we create, without exception, and realize that this choice is individually ...

Before moving on to study the physics behind the Principle of Vibration in the next blog, we are going to look at one last subject related to the principles of correspondence and mentalism found in Chapter IV of The Quantum Hermetica; the pentagram. The pentagram is associated with the connection between planes to summon or banish forces and beings. To get into this, we first need to briefly go back over “where” these planes are and how they relate to the physical world.
To recap from an earlier blog, the “where” of these other planes is the collective inner space, the “within” from which the “without” emerges. As we saw before, this can be neatly identified with the synthesis between Hermeticism and physics with the realm outside of spacetime, which is described by the exact same Hilbert space description that our own inner mental states are “coincidentally” explained within quantum cognition. The...
How much do you love yourself? This is one of the questions that people often find too easy to answer. Some are too quick to say that they love themselves, but often fail to show how much. How do you show yourself that you have all the love for it? Do you have a self-love ritual that you follow?
Love, in all its forms, all begins in one's love for himself.
When you know how to love yourself unconditionally, you will be able to wholeheartedly accept who you are and appreciate what you have become. You have this positive notion about life in general, and that happiness is a fundamental aspect of who you are.
You will feel good about yourself because you deserve it. When you are coming from this perspective of self-love, you are embracing self-acceptance and self-respect. In turn, you will live a life that is more fulfilling than it has ever been.
From there, you also begin to build strong foundations of a loving...

As a mixed African, Asian/Pacific Islander, and Arab heritage woman, I have experienced others’ perceptions of who I am across various categorical labels throughout my life.
From “Black” to “Black and Asian,” to “Muslim,” or the terms I have typically landed on: “Sudanese and Filipino.”
Somehow, I believed that the more objectively “accurate” a description I could give myself—the more “right” one.
But “right” for whom?
Looking back on my life, I realize how much time and energy I have spent “fitting in,” being liked, people-pleasing—and rather than judging myself for this, I can now see it as an adaptive strategy.
A SURVIVAL strategy passed down from my parents and ancestors’ lived experiences.
While I have fortunately felt connected to a real sense of who I am inside throughout life, I can see how I...
Amid these strange times, people have to learn how to distance themselves from others quickly. The global pandemic has put many people in the midst of being alone despite being surrounded by a lot of different people.
While this circumstance may have been brought about by the world health crisis, the self-isolation that we have to maintain has required everyone to be on their own. But how about those who fear being left alone? What happens to them?
At the moment, people are trying very hard to survive amid the feeling of being socially disconnected. It is not about having people around for support and love. Rather, it is about knowing that they are there and knowing that you cannot be with them.
This fact brings about a kind of struggle that makes it seemingly impossible to overcome. Astrology has become an excellent tool that provides everyone with an idea of how they can cope with these changes in community interaction and...
